Groenland
Greenland, an autonomous territory of Denmark, is located on the world’s largest island in North America, 81% of which is covered by ice. Home to 56,421 people—89% of whom are Inuit—it offers a unique cultural blend. The capital, Nuuk, serves as the administrative and cultural heart of the territory. The island is celebrated for its dramatic fjord-lined coast, its highest peak, Gunnbjørn Mountain (3,700 m), and the world’s largest national park.
